Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to maintain a spotless environment.
• Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures, ensuring compliance with health standards.
• Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing.
• Clean floors using appropriate techniques such as sweeping, mopping, and carpet cleaning to ensure they are free of dirt and debris.
• Use cleaning equipment and detergents safely and effectively, maintaining all tools in excellent condition.
• Manage manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or equipment with proper technique to prevent injury.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand their specific needs and provide outstanding customer service.
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning schedules, supplies used, and any maintenance issues encountered.
• Assist with outdoor work when necessary, including patio or garden cleaning to uphold overall property cleanliness.

Experience

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience in residential or commercial settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning, and sanitation practices is highly desirable.
• Experience using various cleaning equipment and detergents safely is essential.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the day.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with ease.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
• Knowledge of outdoor work procedures related to property upkeep is a plus.

Our pay is $7.50 per hour plus admin time at $15.
