Position Overview
As an Armed Security Officer, you will serve as both a protector and an ambassador of our community. This role requires a calm, confident presence, strong communication abilities, and a genuine commitment to providing outstanding service to residents, guests, vendors, and fellow team members.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify and address potential security risks or breaches
- Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity within the facility and surrounding areas
- Respond promptly and effectively to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including medical situations requiring first aid or CPR
- Enforce access control protocols by verifying credentials of visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate tensions
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or emergencies when necessary
- Document all incidents accurately through detailed reports and logs for future reference and compliance purposes
Skills
- Proven experience in security operations or law enforcement with a strong understanding of security protocols
- Certification in first aid and CPR to provide immediate assistance during medical emergencies
- Proficiency in surveillance techniques using CCTV systems for effective monitoring
- Ability to handle conflict situations calmly while maintaining control and safety for all parties involved
- Familiarity with military or security training programs that enhance situational awareness and response skills
- Strong communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members, law enforcement, and the public
