Job Summary: Excel After the Bell is an afterschool tutoring program designed to help North Pole Middle School students achieve academic success. Your role as a tutor would be to help students re-learn concepts, complete homework successfully, and provide any further academic support needed in all subjects.
Hourly Rate: $18.00-$42.66
Work Week: 4 days a week, less than 15 hours a week
Benefits: There are no benefits associated with this position
The minimum age requirement for this position is 16 years old.
Job Qualifications
The following are required:
- Understanding of the after-school program(s) and their role within the District.
- Possess basic reading and math skills.
- Possess a basic understanding of learning disabilities.
- Clear and easily understood verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with children.
