Fairbanks Dental Associates is seeking a friendly, skilled, and dependable Dental Hygienist who is passionate about helping patients achieve and maintain optimal oral health. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental hygiene assessments and periodontal charting.
- Provide routine prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, and preventive periodontal therapy.
- Take and interpret digital dental radiographs.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, home care, and preventive treatment.
- Apply fluoride treatments and dental sealants as appropriate.
- Assist the dentist in diagnosing oral health conditions and developing treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records using Open Dental software.
- Follow all OSHA, CDC, and infection control protocols.
- Ensure treatment rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Build positive relationships with patients while delivering outstanding customer service.
Qualifications
- Current Dental Hygienist license in good standing.
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience with digital radiography and Open Dental practice management software preferred.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the dental team.
