Now Hiring: Laundry Aide
About the Role:
Join our team as a Laundry Aide, where you’ll carry out daily laundry tasks to ensure residents always have fresh linens and garments, while maintaining high standards of safety and sanitation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain an adequate supply of laundry and linen in all designated areas to meet residents’ daily needs
- Keep laundry work areas free of hazards such as spills, clutter, or excess equipment
- Collect, sort, and weigh soiled laundry, linens, and garments, placing them in proper containers or areas
- Wash soiled items following established procedures and standards
- Press or iron garments as needed
- Fold, count, stack, hang, and distribute clean laundry and linens to residents daily or as instructed
- Clean and maintain laundry carts, supplies, and equipment as necessary
- Perform other daily laundry duties as assigned
