Position: Dietary Aide (Part-Time)
Location: Fair Oaks Health Care Center - Crystal Lake, Illinois
Status: Part-time/casual
Schedule: Every Monday (6am-2:00pm) ever other weekend (6am-2:00pm)
Essential Functions
- Operates, cleans and sanitizes food service equipment, dishes and utensils.
- Adheres to food safety guidelines, follows diet restrictions.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and follows the sanitation standards.
- Provides effective communication and interaction with residents, visitors and other team members.
Required Job qualifications
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to serve meals according to diet restrictions
- Team oriented
- Enjoy working with senior population
Qualification Preferred
- Valid Food Service Protection Certification (Sanitation Certificate)
- Knowledge of therapeutic diets
- Large volume scratch cooking

What you can expect from us upon receipt of your application:
- Human Resource Manager will contact you within 1-2 business days of your application submission
- Complete 1-2 interview(s) with Department Head and Human Resources
- Upon receiving the job offer, complete new-hire tasks and onboarding paperwork (via the Paycor app)
- Human Resource will set date/time to complete paperwork, provide tour of building while introducing you to our staff, provide name badge and time clock access
- Department head and/or Scheduler will meet with you to provide you with schedule
- Paid departmental (job specific) training - five day minimum
- Paid building orientation
- Receive continuous training as you provide exceptional care to our residents
