JOB SUMMARY
Are you interested in becoming part of a dynamic team? Fair Oaks is looking for a part-time cook. Hours would be every other weekend 5am - 1:00 pm, and every Monday. Wage is $19.00 per hour.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Prepare and plate food for residents following all recipes and diet orders. Operates, cleans and sanitizes kitchen and cafeteria equipment, dishes, and utensils. Adheres to food safety guidelines, follows diet restrictions and recipes. Gives effective communication and interaction with residents, visitors and other team members.

QUALIFICATION REQUIRED
- Current Food Handler Certificate
- Ability to follow menu and recipes provided
- Knowledge of various diet types (LCS, Puree, Mechanical)
- Team player
- Effective communication skills
- Must be English literate and possess strong written and verbal communication skills
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED
· Food service experience in long-term care setting
