Position Summary

Responsibilities
- Assists the resident with activities of daily living
- Recognizes residents' strengths and uses rehabilitative nursing techniques to restore or maintain independence
- Reports observations to the Nurse concerning the residents' condition or activities
- Assist in meeting the resident's emotional needs.
- Assists in the provision of a safe and clean environment

- Participates as a team member in the interdisciplinary care conference as requested.

- Transports residents from one nursing unit to another.
- Attends staff development programs related to job responsibilities and maintains educational requirements needed for certifications
