Fair Acres Geriatric Center is Delaware County’s skilled nursing facility, owned and operated by the County of Delaware. Located on a 210-acre tract in Lima, Pennsylvania, it consists of eighteen buildings, five of which host skilled nursing units accommodating over 900 residents. With a large and well-trained staff of physicians, nurses, and therapists, Fair Acres provides quality care to its residents. The facility is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Health and certified for participation in Medicare and Medicaid programs. It serves as a Geriatric training site for nursing schools in the area.
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Nurse located in Media, PA. The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to residents. Daily tasks include administering medications, monitoring patient health, coordinating with physicians and therapists, updating patient records, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. The role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate and effective care.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania
- Strong clinical skills in administering medications and monitoring patient health
- Experience in a geriatric or long-term care setting is preferred
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills to work with physicians, therapists, and other staff members
- Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards
- CPR certification
- Empathy and compassion for elderly residents
