Job Title: Construction Scheduler
Reports to: General Construction Division Manager
Overview: Responsible for overall planning and scheduling of multiple construction projects.
Responsible for:
Ø Developing, maintaining, and analyzing project schedules utilizing Primavera P6 software
Ø Support planning and sequencing of activities from beginning to end of the project
Ø Partnering with Project Managers to review, modify and update project schedules
Ø Contributing to continuous improvement of scheduling processes and training
Ø Reporting directly to Division Manager for scheduling updates and providing reports on project progress
Ø Reaching out to subcontractors and internal divisions for schedule durations and long lead items
Ø Other duties as required
Qualitative and other attributes required:
Ø Minimum 5 years of experience in construction (project management/superintendent)
Ø Minimum 5 years of experience in construction scheduling
Ø Bachelor’s degree in construction related field preferred
Ø Understanding construction systems and job site order of operations
Ø Experience in scheduling and understanding critical path items and logic driven scheduling
Ø Proficiency in Primavera (latest version) and MS Office Suite
Ø Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ø Superior organizational and planning skills
Ø Strong understanding of construction documentation and ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Ø Ability to build efficient and effective working relationships with subcontractors, project teams, and company staff
Ø Effective time management and logical decision-making
Ø Capacity to handle pressure
Ø Physical and mental fitness
Ø Reliable transportation required
Certificates, Licenses, and/or Registrations: Osha 10 preferred but can obtain prior to start
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
