Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Laborer to join our team at Fahs Construction Group in Binghamton, NY. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting various construction projects, contributing to the successful completion of our work while ensuring safety and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Performing tasks involving physical labor at assigned job-site.
Operating hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments.
Cleaning and preparing job sites, digging trenches, setting braces to support the sides of excavations, erecting scaffolding, cleaning up rubble and debris
Assisting other craft construction workers
Lifting and carrying heavy objects
Following safe work procedures and safe work practices
Other construction related duties as required
Knowledge and Skills Required:
High School diploma/GED
Minimum 2 years related experience or equivalent role
OSHA 10
Qualitative and other attributes required:
Ability to work individually or as part of a team effort
Effective communication skills and ability to follow directions
Effective time management and logical decision-making ability
Capacity to handle pressure
Willingness to travel to multiple FAHS construction sites
Physical and mental fitness
