JOB TITLE: Technical Inside Sales Representative & Salesforce Administrator

SUMMARY: Position will be an integral part of our sales team, interacting with key contacts via phone, web, email, and other selling tools. Product is sold B to B and is technical in design and usage. Someone with an interest or aptitude in electronics or fire protection would be ideally suited for this role. The role will also have a secondary function of being the subject matter expert of our CRM system (Salesforce) and be the point of contact for outside sales support with this program.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manages the creation and presentation of quotations for opportunities as they are identified.
· Handles inbound calls and provides callers with product and service information.
· Processes Customer Returns (RMAs) and work with Production to ensure an agreeable resolution has been obtained with the customer and policy is followed.
· Gains and retains extensive product selection application knowledge as well as detailed comprehension of customer's requirements.
· Understands customer needs and requirements.
· Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions to ensure data security and accessibility within Salesforce.
· Create and maintain reports and dashboards for data analysis and decision-making within Salesforce.
· Provide training and support to users to enhance their proficiency with the Salesforce platform.
· Track Salesforce LEADS, OPPORTUNITIES, and QUOTATIONS.
· Stays updated on Salesforce releases and features to leverage new functionalities.
· Monitors, drives, and mentors outside sales with Salesforce for proper utilization.
· Research accounts, identify key players and generate customer interest.
· Challenges inquiries from a technical point of view to ensure proper alignment and accuracy is achieved with customer requests and purchases.
· Sources new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow up and outbound cold calls and emails.
· Manages customer projects through the order process. Ability to manage customer projects through completion is preferred.
· Ability to work cross-functionally with Service and Operations teams keeping a customer centric approach.
· Helps generate new business and ensure growth of existing accounts.
· Support trade shows and marketing efforts of the organization.
· Ability to read and edit drawings is a plus, but not required.
· Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree or three to five years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three to five years’ experience as a Salesforce administrator or Super User
- Strong technical solution and developmental skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts and designs clearly.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to establish mutually beneficial commitments and expectations with customers.
- Ability to work across diverse personalities and agendas at various levels of seniority across organizations to achieve goals.

- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM management tool a must.
