What are the responsibilities and job description for the Independent Broker Partner - Employee Benefits position at Faex Health?
Apply here or email Partners@faexhealth.com. The first step is a 15-minute conversation covering the platform, the full agreement, and whether your network is a fit.
Faex Health is a smartphone-based gastrointestinal health engagement platform for self-insured employers and health plans. We're bringing on a small group of independent broker partners who already have warm relationships with benefits leaders and payer teams, and we'd rather publish the full commission structure here than make anyone book a call to hear it.
This is a commission-only, 1099 independent contractor partnership. It's non-exclusive and fully remote anywhere in the US, so you keep your firm, your book, and everything else you sell.
The commission structure
Commissions are a percentage of first-year net revenue, paid quarterly as revenue is collected:
- Warm introduction only: 5%
- Active sales involvement, where you stay in the deal through meetings, diligence, and commercial discussions: 12%
- Full outsourced business development, where you run the deal end to end and we designate that tier in writing up front: 20%
Worked examples straight from our broker agreement, not projections:
- You introduce us to a benefits VP you already know, and the employer signs at $20,000 a month. Your commission is $12,000 for year one.
- You introduce a regional health plan and stay involved through signature on a deal with $500,000 in first-year revenue. Your commission is $60,000 for year one.
- You're designated in writing as the outsourced BD lead on a payer deal with $1.2 million in first-year revenue. Your commission is $240,000 for year one.
