Conduct a variety of tests on inbound materials from vendors and outbound products for shipping.
Ensure that all of the quality check procedures put in place by the company are followed during every production phase.
Complete comprehensive documentation for quality issues and note the corrective actions that were taken.
Educate the production team on quality control issues, new procedures, M3 and work with departmental managers to improve overall company safety and product quality.
Complete process checklists and coordinate quality inspections with departmental management.

• Perform personal training, for example in M3 training,
• When asked, perform internal audits, Glass and brittle audits, helping QA Manager to alter the Quality Management System Documentation.
• Support on customer claims, could be claim investigation, sharing knowledge from a claim to your team.

Daily routines:

• Preparation for the shift
• Check spreadsheets
• Check whiteboard
• Check controls performed on the last shift (to support each other)
• Start the physical work in production at the Lyles moving forward to the Kiefels
• Check the paperwork, labels, packaging instruction, sheet used, stack count everything must match and be right.
• For now - perform checks/process controls every secund hour, be flexible to change your routines
• If you have concerns about the quality do walk the floor more often
• Share information - good and bad - with the shift supervisor
• Check the content in random boxes during your shift not to show that you doubt the quality judgement of the packer, but to show professionalism and care.
• Be in control of the Quality hold area.
• Measure sheet samples from extrusion add to document, perform moister tests on extrusion regrind.
• Scan roll tags
• Handle raw material deliveries and file.
• Walk the warehouse check finished goods
• Make sure to finish all paperwork in the office before you leave
