Duties And Responsibilities
- Greet all guests warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Manage reservations, guest waitlist, and table assignments using designated system
- Maintain awareness of guest preferences, VIPs, and seating strategy
- Escort guests to tables, providing menus and informing servers of arrival
- Monitor pacing of dining room and communicate with service staff to ensure smooth flow
- Answer phones and assist with guest inquiries and bookings
- Maintain a polished, welcoming presence at the host stand throughout service
