Faegre Drinker is actively recruiting an attorney to join our Insurance practice group in our Los Angeles office.
We are seeking an attorney with three to five years of litigation experience. A strong candidate will be a motivated lawyer who seeks a steady volume of insurance litigation and thrives with autonomy but also seeks the opportunity to be part of a strong team and grow and develop business personally. Bar admission in the state of California is required.
Faegre Drinker’s Insurance group works with some of the nation’s largest insurance industry clients. Our practice comprises all lines of insurance, including annuity, health, life, long-term care, disability, and property & casualty. Our practice also covers a broad array of litigation, regulatory, compliance, and transactional matters, including with respect to claims issues, product sales and marketing, anti-fraud, corporate governance, insurance holding company regulation, investment, market conduct, public policy, and solvency. Our Insurance associates work directly with our clients, engage meaningfully with insurance industry groups, and join business development opportunities in the early stages of their career.
The anticipated initial annual salary range for someone who is hired into this position is $255,000 - $300,000.
Actual initial salary may be above or below the above-identified range and will be based on the relevant skills, training, experience, and other job-related factors, including the location of where the position is filled and consistent with applicable law. The initial salary range listed above is just one component of Faegre Drinker's total compensation and benefits package for attorneys, which includes, but is not limited to, productivity and discretionary bonuses; life, health, accident and disability insurance; and a 401(k) plan.
