Job Description Summary: Faegre Drinker has an opportunity for a Strategic Business Intelligence Analyst to work in our Minneapolis, Philadelphia, or downtown Indianapolis office. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to driving business decisions and maximizing competitive edge through data and analytics. This position will work with other talented operations and legal professionals who share a passion for doing great work in the best interest of our clients (internal and external). Job Description: What you would do: Establish data inventory, create taxonomies, determine “source of truth” platforms and/or data points for data analytics Create data visualization and reporting Provide guidance on integrating data across systems (including leveraging 3rd party platforms) Work cross-functionally to implement and support the firm’s business intelligence and Power BI operating and governance model in support of firm strategic initiatives Facilitate process improvement methodologies Assist in identifying priorities and roadmap to design, develop and deliver strategic firm business intelligence Research and recommend products, services, and standards in support of procurement and development of tools Support a cultural change initiative to democratize data and remove silos across operational teams Apply storytelling and visualization skills to deliver clear and concise initiatives Special projects and other duties as assigned What is expected: Strong commitment to client service. What is required: Bachelor’s degree with at least 3 years of experience in a law firm or professional services firm working cross-functionally Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, change management, and coordination of people and process Strong service orientation and experience working with lawyers in a consultative manner, and the ability to translate business challenges into technical requirements Ability to communicate complex results clearly to a non-technical audience Understanding of data management principals and data warehouse administration Experience using data visualization tools (MS Power BI, Tableau, etc.) Certification or coursework in Data Strategy, Data Analytics or Business Intelligence preferred At least two years of experience in a data strategy or analyst role preferred Apply now if you are ready to join the Faegre Drinker team!
