Faegre Drinker has an opportunity for a Business Development & Marketing Specialist to work with our Client Development & Marketing team in our Minneapolis, Philadelphia or downtown Indianapolis office. You will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to identifying and developing key strategies for business generation while building marketing campaigns to assist in the promotion and visibility of the practice group. This position will work with other talented individuals who share a passion for doing great work in the best interest of our clients.

- Provide day-to-day marketing support to assigned practice and BDMM on a variety of interactive projects
- Coordinate the logistics and follow-up for ongoing and simultaneous projects for assigned practice groups
- Work with BDMM, in collaboration with groups, to implement and execute marketing and business development initiatives
- Work with BDMM and proposal team as appropriate to build client-focused proposal content related to the supported groups and industry teams
- Interact with Competitive Intelligence and other sources to gather market research on potential clients and industry trends for use in work with groups, industry teams, markets, proposals or events
- Specials projects and other duties, as assigned

Requirements
- Minimum two years of experience with minimum one year of experience in a professional services industry, preferably involving business development and/or marketing/public relations/communications
- Bachelor’s Degree required; focus in marketing, communications or business preferred
- Proficiency on Word, Excel and PowerPoint for Windows Office Suite, and experience with database software preferred
- Experience in a law firm or experience in the legal profession
