Retail sales, part-time, dependable transportation, weekday/weekend availability , Beachwood Place Mall

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to foster loyalty and satisfaction
• Assist customers in selecting products, offering detailed product demos to highlight features and benefits
• Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
• Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending complementary items to increase sales
• Maintain attractive merchandising displays, stock shelves, and ensure the store is clean, organized, and inviting
• Manage inventory levels by stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and communicating low-stock items to management
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers
• Bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling effective communication with a broader customer base
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, making change, and performing retail math calculations
• Familiarity with POS systems or willingness to learn new technology quickly
• Experience working in a grocery store or similar retail environment is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to supervise or assist in supervising team members is a bonus
