The Director of Campus Dining provides strategic oversight of contracted dining services, serving as the primary liaison with the vendor to ensure high-quality operations, strong financial performance, and an exceptional customer experience for students, faculty, staff and guests.

Position Details:

Salary: From $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

FLSA Status: Exempt Schedule: Full-time

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Public Administration, or a related field, or equivalent of education and experience.
  • 5 years of dining contract execution or business development experience
  • Experience in higher education environment
  • Proven record in managing third-party service providers and holding vendors accountable to performance standards
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Strong financial acumen, including reviewing P&L statements, budgets, and contract financial models

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with food service contracts
  • Knowledge of RFP processes and procurement policies

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage vendor relationships; ensure contract compliance, service quality and operational excellence
  • Lead performance reviews, audits, contract renewals, and RFP processes
  • Oversee financial performance, including budgets, P&L and revenue optimization
  • Develop and implement campus dining strategy to enhance satisfaction and engagement
  • Collaborate with campus stakeholders and student groups to improve dining services
  • Drive innovation in dining, including sustainability, technology, and new concepts
  • Supervise Sustainability Coordinator, align sustainability initiatives with dining-related capital projects and campus initiatives.
