What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Medical Assistant position at Faculty Internal Medicine, PLLC?
Growing Internal Medicine Office is seeking Registered Medical Assistants or Certified Clinical Medical Assistants to join our team. This position will be an integral part of our clinical nursing staff.
Primary Duties include but not limited to:
- Assisting the provider during clinic by rooming patients, obtaining vitals and health history. Performing clinical procedures such as injections, EKGs, ear irrigation, PT/INR, CLIA waived testing like urinalysis and flu, wound dressing and assisting providers in procedures and exams.
- Refilling medications and phone triage.
- Abide by all OSHA and HIPAA policies, procedures and regulations.
- Contributes to a positive, professional clinic atmosphere.
Job Qualifications: Registered Medical Assistant or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant with at least one year of clinical experience required. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
Job Type: Full-Time Monday thru Friday
