Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager – Adobe Target to lead personalization, experimentation, and optimization initiatives for a large retail client in the United States. This is an onsite, client-facing leadership role requiring deep hands-on expertise in Adobe Target, strong understanding of the broader Adobe Experience Cloud ecosystem, and the ability to guide technical teams while partnering with Digital, Product, Marketing, Analytics, and Engineering stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should combine Adobe Target technical depth, experimentation strategy, personalization expertise, solution architecture, and senior stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities:
Adobe Target & Personalization
- Lead end-to-end design and implementation of Adobe Target A/B tests, Multivariate Tests, Experience Targeting, Automated Personalization, and Recommendations.
- Design audience segmentation, profile scripts, custom attributes, activity configuration, and personalization strategies.
- Develop reusable experimentation frameworks and implementation standards.
- Drive server-side and client-side Target implementations using Web SDK, Mobile SDK, APIs, at.js, and Adobe Experience Platform Edge Network.
- Troubleshoot activity delivery, audience qualification, reporting, latency, and integration issues.
Adobe Ecosystem Integration
- Integrate Adobe Target with Adobe Experience Platform, Real-Time CDP, Adobe Analytics, Customer Journey Analytics, AJO, AEM, and Adobe Tags.
- Enable AEP audiences and customer attributes for real-time personalization.
- Partner with analytics teams on experiment measurement, attribution, KPI definition, and statistical interpretation.
Technical & Delivery Leadership
- Lead Target developers, QA engineers, analysts, and offshore/onshore delivery teams.
- Conduct architecture, code, and implementation reviews.
- Own solution design, technical documentation, release planning, UAT, production deployment, and stabilization.
- Establish experimentation governance, naming conventions, QA standards, and reusable accelerators.
Client & Business Leadership
- Partner directly with senior client stakeholders to build experimentation and personalization roadmaps.
- Translate retail business opportunities into scalable Adobe Target use cases.
- Provide recommendations across digital commerce, product discovery, promotions, loyalty, customer journeys, and conversion optimization.
Qualifications:
- 8–15 years of digital/MarTech experience with extensive Adobe Target expertise.
- Strong hands-on experience with JavaScript, HTML/CSS, APIs, Web SDK, and Adobe Experience Platform.
- Experience with enterprise retail or ecommerce personalization programs.
- Strong understanding of experimentation methodology and statistical testing.
- Excellent communication and executive stakeholder management skills.
- Adobe certifications are highly desirable.
