FACTS Engineering is seeking an Electronics Test Technician to provide hands-on support within our Test Engineering department. This role is responsible for testing prototype units, documenting results, troubleshooting issues, and supporting product quality and manufacturability.
This position is a strong fit for someone with a solid electronics background who enjoys working with schematics, test equipment, and engineering teams to solve technical problems and support new product development.
What You Will Do
- Install and calibrate electronic systems following schematics
- Troubleshoot and repair test fixtures and electronic devices
- Perform routine maintenance checks to ensure proper functionality
- Communicate with engineers and operators to resolve issues
- Assemble and connect test fixture and system components
- Create technical documentation, manuals, and test related work instructions
- Perform additional technical support tasks as needed to assist Test Engineering and Production operations

Qualifications
Required
- Solid understanding of electronic theory and circuit operation
- Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams and wiring schematics
- Experience with electronic testing, troubleshooting, and circuitry, or equivalent technical education
- Experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies
- Strong problem solving skills and mechanical aptitude
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow established testing procedures and documentation requirements
Preferred
- Associate degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field
- Equivalent military or technical training in electronics
- Two or more years of experience in electronic testing, troubleshooting, or manufacturing support
- Familiarity with PLC programming or automated test systems
- Experience supporting manufacturing or production environments
FACTS provides a unique schedule that gives teammates a two and half day weekend. The work hours for this position are Monday through Thursday 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Fridays 7 a.m. to 11 a.m.
