What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dirt Bike Mechanic position at Factory Off-road?
About us
Factory Off-Road is an independent service shop in Washington, Utah. We work only on dirt bikes, and we have a 5-star Google rating. The shop is growing, and we need a mechanic who takes pride in the work and wants to keep getting better.
What you'll do
- Diagnose and repair customers' dirt bikes
- Top ends, valve checks, carb work, chain and sprockets, brakes, tires, and fluid services
- Fork seal and suspension service (we'll train you if you haven't done it yet)
- Document every job in Shopmonkey with clear notes and photos, and keep your bay clean
- Get riders back on the trail fast. A lot of our customers are in town for Sand Hollow and need their bike running before the weekend ends.
What we're looking for
- 2 years wrenching on dirt bikes, at a shop or on your own bikes
- Comfortable on both 2-strokes and 4-strokes

- Reliable and on time
- Honest with customers about what their bike needs and what it doesn't
- Plus: suspension experience or a motorcycle tech certification (MMI, UTI, or similar)
What you get
- $25–35/hr depending on experience
