Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Gutter Install Technician to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining gutter systems on residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of construction practices, excellent craftsmanship, and the ability to work safely and efficiently on various job sites. Experience with blueprint reading, hand tools, power tools, and construction site procedures is essential. Duties
- Measure and cut gutter materials to specified dimensions using hand tools and power tools
- Install gutters, downspouts, and related components according to schematics and blueprints
- Ensure proper sealing with caulking and trim carpentry techniques for weather-tight installations
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and adherence to safety standards
- Assist in fabrication of gutter sections on-site when necessary
- Operate heavy equipment as needed for material handling or site preparation
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly
- Read schematics and construction plans to accurately execute installations
Experience
- Previous experience in roofing, siding, or general construction is preferred
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating is advantageous
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation required
- Knowledge of construction inspection, concrete forming, masonry, or restoration is a plus
- Experience with fixture installation, glass installation, cabinet installation, or framing carpentry is beneficial
- Prior work on construction sites involving roofing, stucco, drywall finishing, or tile laying will be considered an asset
- Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites and ability to work at heights safely
