Job Description:
- Receive and unload incoming product while verifying accuracy of shipment and inspection for damages loss, or defects
- Maintain product, tools, equipment, and work area in a clean, orderly and safe manner
- Perform inventory control and keep quality standards high for audits
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers
- Ability to operate a computer to assist in tags, fill out daily checklist and forms
- Inspect goods for defects and damages
- Notify supervisors of problems that are not resolvable
- Organize space in the warehouse and perform cleaning duties
- Assembling and moving furniture throughout the showroom on a daily basis
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ warehouse experience in receiving and assembling
- Strong attention to detail and excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast paced environment
- Ability to lift, lower, push or pull furniture up to and in excess of 100lb
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Possess a clean, neat, and professional appearance
- Serve customers with a high level of courtesy
- Apply troubleshooting abilities to solve potential customer service issues
