Factory Cleaning Equipment, LLC is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team in Charlotte, NC, supporting Spartanburg, South Carolina. We service and support industrial floor cleaning machines for customers throughout the Chicagoland area. This is a mobile position where you’ll work independently in the field, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment at customer sites.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on sweepers and scrubbers
- Travel to customer locations using a company vehicle
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers
- Keep detailed records of work performed using a tablet
- Maintain tools, inventory, and a clean, organized service van
Requirements
- Mechanical experience (auto, diesel, or industrial equipment preferred)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments
- Basic computer and mobile device proficiency
