Job Scope
As a Sign Installer you will be responsible for installing and maintaining a variety of signs, including outdoor and indoor signs.
Responsibilities
- Installation of signs and various support structures. This includes the drilling and pouring of concrete foundations.
- Completes all paperwork as required by management such as work orders, material lists, etc.
- Ensures signs, pipe and other related materials are loaded and secured properly and safely
- Performs general maintenance on company trucks and equipment. This includes the general appearance both inside and outside of the trucks, as well as general care and security of company vehicles and equipment.
- Performs necessary housekeeping activities; this includes, but is not limited to, the picking up of all debris that results from installation activities. This includes proper storage of all materials and equipment when they are not in use as well as all other materials which may be offensive or hazardous.
- Demonstrates flexibility in work hours to include availability for overtime hours as required by management.
- Be physically able to safely and efficiently perform the physical requirements of this position.
- Attends all necessary meetings and training as required by management.
- Provides care and security for all company resources.
- Must be available for extended travel to job sites both in and out of the state.
- 2 years of experience installing exterior and interior electrical signage required.
- Valid Texas Driver’s License required, CDL Class A or B preferred, but not required.
- Crane, OSHA 10/30 certifications preferred, but not required.
- Journeyman Sign Electrician License preferred.
- Experience working with a bucket truck or crane truck.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints or construction drawings.
- Accurate record keeping.
- High Attention to detail.
- Ability to train and lead team members on safe and accurate procedures.
- Effective communication skills in both written and verbal formats.
