What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical QA/QC position at Facility Solutions Group?
As a QA/QC, you will be responsible for Quality Control on work by crews involved in the installation or repair of electrical systems. The ideal candidates have a TDLR Apprentice / Journeyman license, previous QA/QC experience or a minimum of 8 years in commercial or industrial electrical construction, a solid employment history and demonstrate integrity and reliability. We are looking for career-minded candidates who are willing to learn and grow with the company.
USD $30.00 - USD $35.00 /Hr.
- Performing Inspections of equipment as well as in-wall, ceiling, underground, and finals.
- Team with field leadership and the Project Manager on scope of work and installed work.
- Working with FSG personnel to make sure city and state inspections are successful.
- Performing Pre-functional Checklists (PFTs) of equipment.
- Keeping track of observations and punch list items.
- Monitors work as performed.
- Oversees the disposition of required office correspondence and administrative paperwork such as official forms, MEG Sheets, torque sheets and third-party reports.
- Assures compliance with all FSG Electric safety processes and protocols.
- Work with commissioning agents and customers QAQC to ensure all electrical components are installed per contract documents.
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Valid TDLR Apprentice License or Journeyman's.
- Must be able to pass a drug and background screen.
- Ability to multitask while staying organized.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Positive customer service skills.
- Experience in commercial or industrial electrical construction.
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings and digitally use Procore.
