Facility Automation Systems (FAS) is seeking a fully proficient Niagara 4 Platform Engineer to lead our growing team of BAS technicians and Operational Technology (OT) engineers.
In this key leadership role, you’ll design, program, and commission Niagara-based Building Automation Systems (BAS) for a wide range of commercial facilities — from high-performance offices and healthcare centers to smart campuses and innovation hubs.
As the Lead Niagara Design Engineer, you’ll take ownership of all Niagara-related projects — from system architecture and controller configuration to advanced sequence design and project management. You’ll serve as both a technical leader and mentor, guiding field technicians while collaborating closely with our in-house OT and Cloud-BAS development teams.
- Lead the design, programming, and commissioning of Niagara Framework control systems
- Develop and maintain high-performance control sequences aligned with ASHRAE and LEED standards
- Manage project documentation, graphics, testing, and client turnover
- Collaborate with the Cloud-BAS Ecosystem team to integrate Niagara data with SQL databases, APIs, and analytics platforms
- Train and mentor junior Niagara engineers and technicians
- Ensure all system deployments meet FAS’s high standards of reliability, cybersecurity, and performance

- Familiarity with ASHRAE guidelines and control sequences
- Excellent project management and client communication skills
- Niagara 4 Certification and Tridium JACE experience required
- Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 per year (commensurate with experience)
