Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Office Assistant / Bookkeeper to support our accounting and administrative operations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, accurate, and comfortable handling both financial and office support tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Accounts Receivable / Bookkeeping
- Prepare, issue, and track invoices and payment
- Record and apply customer payments accurately
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding balances
- Reconcile accounts and assist with monthly reports
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records
- Assist with basic bookkeeping and data entry tasks
- Will be trained on QuickBooks
Office / Administrative Support
- Provide general office support, assist other departments
- Assist with payroll
- Answer phones and respond to emails professionally
- Assist with scheduling, correspondence, and office coordination
- Support management with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or accounting support preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PDF
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
- Good communication and time-management skills
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree or coursework in accounting or business is a plus
