WAREHOUSE CLERK I - Comstock Park - Full Time, Day Shift
SUMMARY: Facilities Resource Group (FRG) in Comstock Park, Michigan, produces, installs and services Commercial Tankless Water Heating Systems. The Warehouse Clerk I kits parts for production and project teams, helps with scrap disposition, keeps the warehouse clean and organized, operates forklifts and drives company trucks / trailers (for local errands like service appointments, part runs, occasional guest transport, etc.).
JOB DETAILS:
- LOCATION: Comstock Park, MI
- PAY: $18 - $22/hour
- TYPE: Permanent Benefits
- SHIFT: 1st Shift Mon-Fri
- HOURS: 40-50 / Week
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Comply with all safety rules and regulations and company policies.
- Pick and kit plumbing parts and materials for project and production teams.
- Perform bin-to-bin location transfers for kitted parts.
- Help assist project teams with van and trailer loading and unloading.
- Stock / restock received parts in correct locations.
- Assist with scrap and cardboard disposal.
- Restock office supplies, break room refreshments and paper products.
- Safe operation of company forklifts and vehicles (with or without trailers), to/from local errands or appointments: i.e., scheduled service, parts runs, transportation of executive guests.
- Other duties, as directed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- MUST be legally authorized to work in US without sponsorship.
- MUST be at least 21 w/ valid Driver's License and insurable MVR
- MUST have/obtain Chauffeur License and DOT Medical Card (we can help);
- MUST have 1-3 yr. warehouse experience;
- MUST demonstrate strong attention to detail, accuracy and accountability.
- MUST frequently walk, bend, twist and stand throughout the shift;
- MUST lift and load items weighing 10-60 lbs periodically;
- MUST be a team player with good communication skills;
- SUBJECT to completion of background check and DOT physical/drug.
