Position Summary:

The Custodian cleans and maintains assigned areas to meet customer and client satisfaction. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by requirements and business needs.

Essential Functions:

• Adheres to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including complying with OSHA, state/local, federal, and company regulations
• Maintains a clean and orderly environment
• Properly cleans and maintains multiple areas as assigned
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel
• Frequently removes dusts and debris from high and low surfaces
• Completes any daily paperwork required
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager
• Cleaning the restrooms a Kitchenette and office areas. Sweeping, mopping and dusting
• Industrial Cleaning to include high dusting, and cleaning outside decks

Qualifications:

• Previous custodial experience preferred but not required
• The ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds and the ability to climb stairs as needed are required.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Must be at least 18 years old.
