Job Summary: The IT Project Engineer is responsible for the engineering and technician disciplines needed to complete IT projects including but not limited to, client discovery and onboardings, network installations, server configuration and deployments, telecommunication services, and oversee vendor software integrations. The IT Project Engineer works to plan projects, establish project criteria, coordinate project reviews, and ensure the proper and timely implementation of project elements.
Essential Job Responsibilities: (Including but not limited to)
- Implement technology to clients both onsite and remotely
- Consult with our design team and offer guidance on technology use and best practices
- Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions
- Responsible for detailed documentation and follow-up with clients during implementation
- Maintains and updates processes and record keeping system; may document projects and maintain user instructions
- Coordinate with clients and vendors to create schedules for implementation
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures
- Manage client expectations and meet milestones
- Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable
- Troubleshoot and resolve unexpected issues during implementation
- Ensure project deadlines are met
- Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project
- Strong analytical, planning, organizing and problem-solving skills
- Great customer service skills
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced networking (CCNA, Security , Network desired)
- Senior level Windows Desktop experience
- Senior level Windows Server experience
- Senior level Microsoft Applications experience (Office 365, Exchange, SQL, AD, DFS, etc.)

Salary : $65,000 - $85,000
