Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitorial Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of a medical facility. This position involves various tasks related to custodial duties, floor care, and general maintenance of the warehouse environment to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
This position is for multiple locations and would require reliable transportation to travel to each location. This is a full time position with a payrate of $17.00 per hour.
Shifts Available
- Monday thru Friday for a total of 42.5 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and buffing floors to maintain a clean environment.
- Conduct custodial duties such as emptying trash bins, cleaning restrooms, and maintaining common areas.
- Assist in facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs to management.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
- Support industrial cleaning efforts by using appropriate techniques and equipment for larger areas or specialized tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness.
- Experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types.
- Ability to perform basic facilities maintenance tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is a plus.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining a safe working environment.
