Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Drinking Water Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and improving potable water systems. Completed projects will ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards, support community goals, and ensure the continued operation of the system into the future. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will be working in our Whidbey Island or Burlington offices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, environmental engineering, or a related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
- 3 years of experience in drinking water engineering required
- Proficiency in engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, EPANet, Water CAD, or similar tools
- Strong understanding of hydraulics, and water quality principles
- Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
