POSITION OVERVIEW
The Senior Director of Youth, Adult, and Family Programs will collaborate with a team of program leaders to design, develop, and evaluate programs serving multiple generations of the FACES community. Specifically, the Senior Director will oversee programmatic areas of youth development, workforce development, and family support and wellness. In addition, the Senior Director will play a critical role in building and implementing FACES’ "two-generation" programming that creates impactful and inclusive services for children and their families across the organization. For this role, FACES seeks a forward-thinking collaborator whose vision and strategy are based on experience and best practice.
What You’ll Do
Program Development
Lead program planning, design, and implementation of out-of school time programs for 60-90 children, workforce development and community support programs for 400 adults, and family support and wellness programs offered to 500 families annually
Partner closely with program directors, the Senior Director of Early Childhood Education (ECE), and the COO to implement a two-gen program model that brings adult and family services to our sites
Support collaboration between Inclusion Team and the ECE education team to offer inclusive services in compliance with state requirements for meeting the needs of exceptional children
Partner with the enrollment and compliance teams to reach target enrollment and ensure strong communication and engagement for a seamless enrollment experience for children and families
Partner with Evaluation Manager to design, implement and learn from annual program evaluation
Support program directors to establish values-aligned program and community partnerships
Program Supervision
Lead, supervise, and coach Director of Workforce Development, Director of Family Support and Wellness, and Basecamp Program Manager
Partner with People Operations team, program leads, and COO to meet staffing needs, including recruitment, hiring, and onboarding; provide ongoing program-specific training and coaching
Schedule and coordinate staff development, including coordinating outside trainers as needed
Lead program management meetings to align on program strategy, design, integration, and quality
Coordinate partners, other providers and consultants to support program operation and service
Ensure policies and procedures outlined in FACES SF employee and parent handbooks, legal and personnel guidelines, and other agency documents are implemented with fidelity and consistency
Program Administration
Use equity-based decision-making to improve program culture, processes, and systems
Co-develop and oversee department budget with finance team and Chief Operating Officer
Ensure program directors implement budgets aligned with program needs and contract compliance
Partner with the development team on program-related fundraising efforts and grant submissions
Support program leads with goal setting and tracking, culture-building, and effective leadership
Support the identification, design, and adoption of a program client record management platform
Maintain all necessary program records and oversee reporting to state, city, and private funders
Participate on local committees and working groups relevant to program areas and funding partners
Serve on the leadership team, contributing to our annual goal-setting, budgeting, and strategy
Qualifications
You have a solid mix of the following knowledge, ability, skills and experience:
10 years of program experience in at least two of these areas: youth development, family engagement, education inclusion, and/or workforce development
8 years of experience developing programs and managing program teams, including supervisors
Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent experience required; master’s degree preferred
Strong leadership and supervisory skills; experience leading and working with diverse staff
Ability to meet required state, federal, local, and CDC standards (including but not limited to fingerprint clearance, negative TB test, First Aid, CPR)

Annual salary between $130K - $140K based on experience and qualification
