Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our clinical team. In this role, you will work directly with individuals (primarily children) with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities. You will implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to help clients develop communication, social, and daily living skills while reducing challenging behaviors.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Therapy: Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to clients in home, clinic, or school settings.
- Implementation: Execute behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs as prescribed by the supervising BCBA.
- Data Collection: Accurately record and track client progress in real-time using digital data collection tools.
- Behavior Management: Use positive reinforcement and proactive strategies to manage and redirect challenging behaviors.
- Collaboration: Participate in clinical meetings and provide regular feedback to the BCBA.
- Professionalism: Maintain strict client confidentiality (HIPAA) and adhere to the RBT Ethics Code.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certification: Active RBT Certification from the BACB is required.
- Education: Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and remain physically active.
- Clearance: Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check.
- Transport: Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
