Social Media & Content Assistant
Part-Time | Fashion, Content & Affiliate Sales
We are looking for a creative, motivated, and social-media-savvy individual to assist with a growing fashion and affiliate marketing business.
This position is focused entirely on social media, content creation, fashion trends, and online sales. The ideal candidate genuinely enjoys social media, understands what is currently trending, and is excited to learn how content translates into engagement, clicks, and sales.
Responsibilities
- Assist with posting and managing content across social media platforms
- Edit and prepare short- and long-form content, including YouTube content
- Assist with platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, and LTK
- Take photos and assist with creating social media content
- Sort through and select the strongest photos and videos for posting
- Upload, organize, and prepare content for publication
- Assist with basic photo and video editing
- Stay consistently aware of fashion trends, social media trends, viral products, major sales, and trending content
- Research current sales and promotional opportunities in fashion and retail
- Help identify content opportunities based on what is performing across different platforms
- Assist with planning and organizing content around sales, launches, holidays, and seasonal trends
- Learn and understand what drives engagement, clicks, and conversions
- Help keep digital content, photos, videos, and upcoming projects organized
Ideal Candidate
- Has a strong working knowledge of social media
- Regularly uses platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube
- Has an interest in fashion, shopping, online sales, and content creation
- Understands current social media culture and trends
- Comfortable taking photos and videos
- Photo/video editing experience is strongly preferred
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Able to work independently and take initiative
- Comfortable learning new platforms and technology
- Creative and willing to bring new ideas to the business
- Dependable and able to meet deadlines
