Job Summary
Join our dynamic warehouse team as a Warehouse Laborer, where your energy and attention to detail will drive the efficient movement of goods and materials. We are looking for a person for our weekend shift. schedule is friday, saturday, sunday, 12 hr shifts. work 36 hrs, but paid for 40 hrs.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate various material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Assist with inventory control by accurately picking, packing, and organizing
- Conduct manual handling of materials for heavy lifting tasks while adhering to OSHA safety standards and PPE use protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by following safety procedures and conducting routine safety inspections in line with OSHA regulations.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall workflow efficiency.
- Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards and proper PPE use during all manual handling activities.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order processing.
- Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting tasks and manual handling throughout shifts; capable of standing for long periods.
- Experience working in manufacturing or construction environments is a plus;
