Responsibilities:
- Operate laser cutting machines to cut metal sheet and plate according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to determine job requirements
- Set up and adjust laser cutting machines for optimal performance
- Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to ensure quality and accuracy
- Perform quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and other hand tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
Skills:
- Proficient in operating laser cutting machines and related equipment
- Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Experience with precision measuring instruments for quality inspection purposes
- Basic understanding of tooling concepts and applications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in work
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
