Window Treatment Specialist

Summary:

Works with the Sales Representatives to identify customers for Finished Product and Drapery Hardware sales. Teach/assist in measuring for drapery and hardware. Give guidance on Hardware motorization and installation. Quote and order finished products and hardware for customers.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Represents and manages Fabricut, Stroheim, Vervain, S. Harris and Trend in a professional manner and appearance.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with current and potential customers.
• Advises customer as to kind and quantity of fabric needed for Window Treatments and appropriate hardware for specific uses.
• Discusses features and qualities of fabric such as weave, texture, color and usage.
• Teach customers how to navigate the Fabricut websites for Finished Product and Hardware.
• Educates/assist customers how to accurately measure window treatments and hardware.
• Enters Quotes for widow treatments and hardware.
• Respond to customer’s questions and problems on a timely basis and offer a solution as quickly as possible, mediating and resolving challenges fairly.
• Interfaces with other departments to provide good service.
• Displays good safety and housekeeping practices.
• Uses material and equipment effectively.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Job duties are subject to change as directed by management.
  
  

Requirements

All essential job functions.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years’ experience with Window Treatments required
• Drapery and Hardware knowledge required.
• Workroom knowledge beneficial.
• Ability to learn product lines.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Superb interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work effectively with others.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Must be able to travel overnight within the sales territories.
• Attend Sales meeting in Tulsa OK twice per year.
• Excellent driving record.
• Ability to follow geographical directions.
