We are seeking a skilled Solid Surface Countertop Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with solid surface materials (e.g., Corian, Avonite, HI-MACS) and demonstrate strong woodworking or cabinetry skills. This role involves precise cutting, shaping, seaming, and finishing of solid surface countertops for residential and commercial applications.

Responsibilities
- Operate fabrication equipment, including routers, table saws, sanders, and other power and hand tools
- Measure, cut, and fabricate solid surface materials according to specifications, templates, and shop drawings
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and meet deadlines.
- Operate fabrication tools including routers, table saws and sanders
- Seam, glue, and finish joints to achieve a seamless appearance
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and templates
- Perform finish work including sanding, polishing, and edge detailing
- Utilize forklifts for moving materials as needed, ensuring safe operation at all times.
- Maintain fabrication equipment and a clean, organized work area
Skills
- Proven experience in solid surface fabrication or skilled woodworking/cabinetmaking background with interest in transitioning to solid surface work
- Proficient in the use of standard woodworking and fabrication tools
- Prior warehouse experience is a plus, particularly in material handling.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating strong communication skills.
