Summary: Assists HR Manager/Director in administering and overseeing various human resource functions including strategy and leadership, recruiting and talent acquisition, talent management, employee relations, legal compliance, and administrative tasks. The role requires maintaining professional knowledge, providing guidance and assistance to leadership and fostering a positive workplace culture. The HR Generalist will also assist with talent acquisition efforts, manage employee relations, ensure legal compliance, and handle administrative HR tasks.

HUMAN RESOURCES
Benefits
· Assemble Employee Handbooks
· Assist with unemployment claim reporting
· Assist with all aspects of bi-weekly payroll and benefit enrollment into payroll system
· Enters benefit invoices into the NetSuite System to be paid in a timely fashion
· Prepare benefit program enrollment materials, and keep benefits updated for all insurance and retirement plans
· Prepare employee birthday cards from the General Manager and ensures they are mailed timely
· Track service time and service awards according to Company policy
· Maintain time and attendance, vacation, holidays, bereavement, etc. through time management system
Safety
· Assist with annual safety training – schedules, administer video/tests, and documentation
· Assist leadership with workplace accident investigation, paperwork, workers compensation case management, and follow-up
· Monitor safety boot website, safety eyewear, and safety credit program for enrollments, utilization and terminations
· Prepare safety committee agendas, records monthly meeting minutes, distributes materials to the safety committee members, and posts on bulletin boards
· Prepare safety trainings, fork truck training, DOT physicals, training tracking, distributes, and maintains files
· Onboarding – prepare packets, complete paperwork and safety orientation training
Recruiting & Onboarding
· Place ads on online "job" sites and in local newspapers
· Maintain contact with local high schools, technical schools, and colleges to increase visibility in the community and establish developmental avenues for students and candidates
· Internal postings for openings
· Maintain applicant tracking log and all relevant AAP monitoring
· Review applications/resumes and schedule interviews
· Participate in interviews as needed
MISCELLANEOUS
· Answers phone overload calls from sales to assist caller to reach the appropriate person or transfer to the appropriate voicemail box
· Greets visitors to the Bucks Office and notifies appropriate personnel
· Sort incoming mail and ensure outgoing mail is taken on a daily basis
· Orders office supplies and maintains office inventory
· Uses the prescribed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when in designated areas
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45, $62,110.23 per year
