We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic production team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside our events team, bringing craftsmanship and hands-on expertise to every task. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to high-quality building and remodeling efforts. Paid positions are available, emphasizing the importance of safety, precision, and teamwork in a fast-paced events industry.
Duties
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials for furniture, structures and fixtures
- Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, finishings, etc
- Perform carpentry tasks including trim work and free standing structures
- Maintenance and prep work on existing furniture and custom pieces
- Operate woodworking machines safely to cut and shape wood construction materials for various applications
- Install mouldings, and other fixtures with precision and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction or carpentry with a solid understanding of minor building techniques and safety protocols
- Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels, levels; familiarity with power tools including drills, saws, sanders for woodworking and framing
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes
- Experience working on bars, stair, trims, bar pedestals, wood stage skirting is a plus
- Strong scheduling and organizational skills to complete tasks in a timely manner

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
