Responsibilities
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Welding, cutting, and shaping metal components
- Assembling metal structures and equipment
- Ensuring all work meets company quality standards and safety regulations
- Collaborating with team members to complete projects efficiently and on time
- Serving as the trainer for the Sanding Trailer and Painter Trailer, including instruction on
- proper procedures, safety practices, and equipment use
- Performing interior cleaning of trailers as assigned Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field; advanced degrees are a plus
- Proven experience with mechanical design software such as SolidWorks and Creo
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles, schematics, and drafting standards
- Familiarity with CAD tools for creating detailed technical drawings and schematics
- Experience with system design, manufacturing processes, and quality standards including GD&T and ASME codes & standards
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Arduino platforms, LabVIEW, MATLAB, Simulink, and FEA software
- Ability to perform root cause analysis using data-driven approaches
- Hands-on experience with manufacturing techniques such as CNC machining or additive manufacturing is desirable Work Expectations
