Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Dry Cleaner and Spotter to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the professional cleaning of garments using industry-standard dry cleaning techniques and equipment. You will be responsible for the safe and effective operation of dry cleaning machines, stain treatment, and quality control of garments before they move to the next stage of production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate dry cleaning and wet cleaning machines and manage load types based on fabric, color, and care requirements
- Review and interpret garment care labels and customer notes
- Pre-treat stains using appropriate spotting techniques and chemicals
- Inspect garments before and after cleaning for quality and potential issues
- Handle specialty and high-value garments with extra care
- Maintain equipment and report any maintenance needs
- Work closely with the production team to ensure smooth flow of work
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of dry cleaning experience (required)
- Strong knowledge of spotting and stain removal techniques
- Familiarity with solvent types, cleaning cycles, and garment classifications
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Must be dependable, team-oriented, and able to work independently
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $29.00 per hour
