About Fabric

Fabric Social is the maverick of social agencies. We specialize in building brands through best-in-class content, trend-first creative, and community-first thinking. We’re not just about reach; we’re about resonance. We nourish communities and create social ecosystems that pull audiences in, not just push content out. Following huge success and exponential growth in the UK & Europe, we are expanding into the US following significant client wins stateside and we are looking for highly ambitious, world-class Creative professionals to join our growing team.

About The Role

A Social Creative spots cultural waves early and leads reactive thinking, balancing speed with relevance. They consistently deliver best-in-class work across clients and identify community growth moments others may miss. They can brief or create visually distinctive content for subcultures and develop concepts that tie into larger campaigns and brand goals, thinking reactively and with evergreen longevity. They turn data into insight, recommend optimizations, oversee full audits, and understand why content is hitting or missing. They contribute confidently in pitches and presentations, elevating community thinking and creative quality across the team.

What We’re Looking For

  • A Social Superfan: You live on the internet (in a healthy way). TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit…you’re across it all and instinctively know what’s gaining traction. You’re quick to spot emerging trends and even quicker to work out which ones are worth jumping on for a brand.
  • A Sharp Writer: You know how people actually talk online and you write like it. Your copy is sharp, witty and self-aware, never try-hard or overly “branded”. You can flex your tone effortlessly, whether you’re replying in comments, jumping into a trend, or crafting reactive posts.
  • A Culture Sponge: You have a sixth sense for what’s about to pop off. You understand internet culture in all its weird, wonderful forms and know how to plug brands into it authentically. Whether that’s through original content, clever community management, or perfectly judged copy on someone else’s post.
  • A Community Nerd: You genuinely care about communities and how they work. You know how to build, nurture and protect them, understanding that it’s about conversation and connection, not just broadcasting content into the void.
  • A Strategic Thinker: You don’t just know what works, you know why it works. You can create content that earns attention and drives real results, and clearly articulate your thinking to account teams and clients alike, from insight through to execution.
  • A True Collaborator: You’re confident working directly with creators, meme pages and publishers, building relationships that help brands show up in culture and extend their reach in smart, relevant ways.
  • An Agency Pro: You’ve ideally got 2 years’ experience in a social-first or creative agency, leading or heavily contributing to community management for major brands. You’re comfortable juggling multiple clients and know how agencies really work.
  • Communication & Persuasion: You work closely with client services teams and clients, helping sell bold, brave ideas while remaining open to feedback. You know how to push for great work without being precious, and how to take on constructive criticism positively.
  • A Technically Capable Creator: You’re hands on and happy in the tools like Adobe Suite, Canva, CapCut and similar and can turn content around quickly without compromising on quality.
  • A Creative Doer: You don’t just spot opportunities, you act on them. You’re proactive, fast-moving and comfortable jumping in to create, post and engage in real time.
  • New Business & Pitch Leadership: You’ll support new business pitches from a creative perspective, confidently championing the role of community in a brand’s social presence and helping sell ideas to prospective clients.

What You’ll Get

  • An exciting role at one of the world’s fastest growing and most exciting marketing agencies.
  • The opportunity to shape Fabric US in its early stages.
  • The opportunity to lead brilliant work for future-shaping brands.
  • A team that values ownership, energy, creativity and maverick thinking.
  • A platform to grow your career in a supportive, ambitious environment.
  • If you’re excited by creative work, client relationships and the chance to shape something special, let’s talk.

JOB LOCATION: The candidate will ideally be Chicago-based but we are open to candidates who work remotely from elsewhere in the US.
