2nd Shift Textile Loom Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating machinery that produces advanced aerospace, ballistic, and construction fabrics, ensuring high-quality production standards, and maintaining a safe work environment. This role requires a strong understanding of factory operations and the ability to read job sheets to manufacture customer orders accurately and within specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor machinery to ensure efficient production processes.
• Read and interpret job sheets and other data to fabricate materials according to customer specifications.
• Utilize equipment safely and effectively in the manufacturing process.
• Conduct regular inspections of machinery to identify potential issues and perform basic maintenance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with safety standards and 5S methodology.

Requirements

• Previous experience working in a textile manufacturing facility is preferred but not required. Will train the right candidate.
• Proficiency in reading job sheets in the English language is essential for understanding customer specifications.
• Experience operating industrial looms or other similar machinery is highly desirable but not required.
• Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail for long periods of time while material is being produced in order to maintain quality standards and customer specifications.
• Strong and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
