The Role: Kitchen Manager / Production Chef
We’re looking for a hands-on culinary leader to oversee our FVH production team within the CookUnity network. This role is ideal for a chef or kitchen manager with strong organizational skills, an eye for detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional food at scale.
What You’ll Do:
• Lead and direct daily food preparation and culinary production.
• Oversee batching, packaging, and quality control of meals for nationwide delivery.
• Maintain the highest standards of consistency, flavor, and presentation.
• Enforce food safety, sanitation, and OSHA standards across all operations.
• Manage, coach, and inspire the kitchen team to perform at their best.
• Execute administrative tasks including scheduling, inventory, and reporting.
• Problem-solve quickly and keep operations running smoothly.
What We’re Looking For:
• A genuine passion for food and hospitality.
• At least 1 year of chef management or kitchen leadership experience.
• Strong multitasking, delegation, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, production-driven kitchen.
• Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds and stand for long periods.
• A proactive, solutions-driven mindset and a positive team spirit.
